Sometimes, You Don't Need to Know Everything Right Now

Ah, I wish I remembered what book this was in.  This past Sunday morning, Pastor David Jones illustrated trusting in God with a story.  It goes something like this (and this is a real story)...

A young girl was traveling with her father on a train.  In her seat, she found a poem, and two words in it were "sex sin."  The girl asks her father, "Dad, what's a sex sin?" Her father looked at her for a little while, and took down his luggage from the compartment above them.  He asked her to try and pick it up.  The girl says, "I can't, it's too heavy."  The luggage was packed full of watch parts they had purchased earlier that morning.  And the father says, "What kind of father would I be to make my little girl carry that luggage full of watch parts?  At this moment, there are some things that are too heavy for you, that you don't need to bear.  Until the time is right, I will bear the burden for you."
